Job Description

We are looking for a Supermarket Assistant/ Shelf Keeper responsible for stacking fresh goods and other products on the shelves of Supermarket, ensuring display areas present well, and helping customers find items they are looking for.

Benefits

Going round the aisles taking note of which stock needs replacing
Removing goods from the shelves which are past their sell-by date
Stacking the shelves and display areas, including fridges and freezers
Making sure that stock is rotated, putting goods with the earliest sell-by dates to the front
Making sure that fridges and freezers are at the correct temperature
Cleaning the shelves and keeping stock neat and tidy
Helping customers with any queries, including showing them where items are
Collecting goods needed from the stockroom using a trolley
Maintaining shelf order by relocating stock belonging to a different area
Checking expired products
Performing any other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Previous experience working in Supermarket or any Retails Industry is a must
Should be able to speak English
Able to provide good customer service
Friendly and helpful
Flexible and able to adapt to change
Honest and reliable
Hardworking and motivated
Smart appearance
